Given the complexities and challenges associated with the level and magnitude of systemic healthcare transformation that is required since the passing and implementation of the Affordable Care Act in 2010, the healthcare industry needs to reassess the optimal leadership theory that best pairs to the needs and strategic priorities of the industry and its associated organization. With this, the purpose of this paper is to explore how transformational leadership influences effective leadership in the healthcare industry environment. The problem statement, it’s not known how transformational leadership influences effective leadership in the healthcare industry environment is what this paper attempts to answer.
